WordPress & WooCommerce Maintenance · Europe

WordPress maintenance that tests before it touches production.

Updates go to a staging copy first. Backups are restored monthly to prove they work. Someone answers within a working day. That's the whole pitch.

€50 / month for a brochure site · €100–150 / month for a WooCommerce shop. First month free on any site we built.

Why maintenance

What breaks WordPress sites.

Not hackers, mostly. Updates. A plugin update changes a hook, the theme expected the old one, and the checkout button disappears on a Friday evening. The second cause is neglect: a site nobody updated for eight months, running a plugin with a known vulnerability, until it isn't yours anymore.

Maintenance is the boring, scheduled work that prevents both.

What's included

What every plan includes.

Updates — the right way

Monitoring

Small changes

Two hours a month (one hour on the €50 plan) for text edits, new banners, a plugin setting, a new form field, a product template tweak. Unused hours don't roll over; larger work is quoted separately and you'll always know before we start.

Reporting

A short monthly email: what was updated, what was blocked, uptime, backup status, hours used. Not a dashboard you'll never open.

Monthly, cancel with one month's notice. No setup fee for sites we built; €150 onboarding for others, which covers a full audit, hardening and the first staging environment.

Existing sites

Sites we didn't build.

Yes. The onboarding audit covers plugin inventory and vulnerabilities, theme quality, hosting configuration, backup status, and a list of what we'd fix first. You get the report either way; the plan starts after the urgent fixes are done.

Questions

Maintenance questions, answered simply.

Why staging first? My host has one-click updates.

One-click updates apply to production and roll back only if you notice in time. Staging catches the checkout that stopped working before a customer does.

Do you host the site?

No — hosting stays in your name with your provider so you own it. We work on whatever host you choose and will recommend one if asked.

What counts as an emergency?

Site down, checkout or forms not working, a security incident, or a legal takedown. Those jump the queue on every plan.

What if I need more than the included hours?

Additional work is quoted before it starts, at €45/hour, or as a fixed price for anything over a day.

Can I cancel?

Any time, with one month's notice. You keep all access, backups and documentation.
