Custom Software

Software shaped to you.

Off-the-shelf tools force your business to bend around their assumptions. We build the software that does it your way instead — web apps, dashboards, internal tools and APIs designed around how you actually work. Based in Chandigarh, building for clients across Punjab and India.

What we build

Four kinds of software, built to last.

01

Web apps & SaaS

Multi-user products with logins, roles, billing and real data behind them. We built Ballot Force — election-campaign intelligence used to plan and track ground operations at scale.

02

Internal tools & dashboards

Admin panels, operations consoles and reporting dashboards that replace the spreadsheet everyone is scared to touch. Our staff management systems run daily operations for real teams.

03

APIs & integrations

The plumbing that makes systems talk — clean REST APIs, webhooks and connectors to payment, messaging and third-party services. PublicShikayat routes citizen grievances through exactly this kind of backbone.

04

AI-native features

Software with intelligence built into the workflow — assisted search, classification, summarisation and decision support. Raydiac, our radiology platform, is built around this from the ground up.

What's included

The engineering that keeps it standing.

A demo is easy. Software that stays fast, secure and maintainable a year later is the hard part — so these come with every build, not as line items you discover later.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

01

Discovery

We dig into the workflow, the users and the constraints — then tell you honestly what is worth building, what to defer, and where the real complexity hides.

02

Architecture & proposal

A written scope, a technical plan, a fixed price for phase one and a dated timeline. You approve the shape of the system before we build it.

03

Iterative build

We ship in short cycles against a staging environment. You use a working version early and steer it, instead of waiting months to first see it.

04

Launch & support

We handle deployment, monitoring and handover — and stay on for maintenance, SLAs and new features if you want us to.

Why us

We ship real software, not slide decks.

This is where Scorpyns is strongest. We built Ballot Force for election-campaign intelligence, PublicShikayat for citizen grievances, staff management systems that run daily operations, and Raydiac for radiology. When we advise you on architecture, it's a decision we've already had to live with in production.

Questions

The things people actually ask.

How much does custom software cost?

It depends on how much the software has to do. A single internal tool or admin panel sits at the lower end; a multi-role SaaS platform with billing, integrations and heavy data sits higher. We break the work into phases and quote a fixed price for the first one after a scoping call, so you commit to a number before any code is written. Here's how our pricing works.

How long does it take to build custom software?

A focused internal tool or dashboard can ship in four to eight weeks. A full SaaS product is built in phases over several months, with a usable version in your hands early rather than everything landing at the end. We give you a dated, phased schedule at the start.

What technology stack do you use?

We build on proven, well-supported tools rather than whatever is trending — typically React and Next.js on the front end, Node or Python services on the back end, and PostgreSQL for data. We pick the stack to fit your problem and your team, not the other way round, and we avoid choices that trap you.

Do you host and maintain the software after launch?

Yes. We set up the cloud infrastructure, deployment pipeline and monitoring, and we can run it for you under an ongoing maintenance and SLA arrangement — patches, backups, uptime monitoring and new features. Several platforms we've built have been under our care for years.

How do you handle data security and NDAs?

We're glad to sign an NDA before you share anything sensitive. Security is built in, not bolted on: encrypted connections, role-based access, hashed credentials, audited third-party libraries and least-privilege infrastructure. For products handling grievances and campaign data we've treated confidentiality as a hard requirement.

Who owns the code and the intellectual property?

You do. The source code, the repositories, the infrastructure accounts and the IP are yours, handed over in full. Nothing about how we build locks you to us — if you ever want to take it in-house or move to another team, you can.
