Webshops for products most agencies won't touch.

Research products, supplements, nootropics, CBD, vaping, adult wellness, knives, airsoft. Legal to sell, hard to sell online — because payment providers, ad platforms and hosts treat them as "high risk". We build shops that launch, take payment, and stay up.

What "high risk" means

What "high risk" actually means for you.

This is the part of our WooCommerce webshops for the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany that most studios leave out.

It doesn't mean illegal. It means a list of companies you depend on will review you case by case and may say no:

ServiceTypical stanceWhat it means
Mollie, Stripe, PayPalCase-by-case; often declined for research products, vaping, adultYour checkout can be switched off after launch, with funds held
Google Ads, Meta AdsProhibited or heavily restrictedPaid traffic is mostly closed; organic search becomes the channel
Klaviyo, MailchimpRestricted categories in their AUPEmail provider can terminate the account
Trustpilot, Google ReviewsMay refuse the categorySocial proof has to come from elsewhere
Some hosts (and Shopify Payments)RestrictedShop can be taken down

A shop built without knowing this is a shop that works for two weeks. The build isn't the hard part; surviving the reviews is.

How we build

Built for the categories others refuse.

Copy structure that doesn't trigger reviewers or regulators

Product pages, category pages and schema are structured so that nothing reads as a medical or therapeutic claim. For research-use products: research-use-only framing, no dosing, no efficacy language, COA and purity data presented as specifications. For supplements: EFSA-compliant health claim wording. We don't write your marketing; we set the structure and rules your writers follow, and we review before launch.

The compliance layer, built into the theme

A payment stack that stays live

We ask about your category before quoting and plan the stack accordingly:

— 01

Mollie or Stripe

Where the category is likely to be approved, with the application prepared correctly (clear product descriptions, terms, refund policy, company details) so it isn't rejected on paperwork.

— 02

Bank transfer with automatic matching

Customer pays by IBAN, the order is confirmed when the transfer lands; near-zero fees and impossible to "shut off".

— 03

High-risk PSPs

With EU coverage where card payments are essential; we introduce you and integrate.

— 04

Crypto via a compliant processor

For customers who prefer it.

Most of our restricted-category clients run two of these in parallel. If one provider exits, the shop keeps selling.

Hosting and email that won't drop you

We recommend hosts with clear, category-tolerant terms, and set up transactional email through a provider that accepts your category so order confirmations keep arriving.

Organic search as the traffic engine

Because paid channels are closed, we put more into the technical SEO of these builds by default: fast Core Web Vitals, clean category architecture, schema, sitemaps and an on-page structure ready for content. Content SEO is offered as a monthly service.

What we don't do

The lines we won't cross.

  • We don't build shops for products that are illegal to sell in the country you're selling from.
  • We don't write medical claims, dosing guides or "how to use" content for research-use products.
  • We don't help disguise a product category from a payment provider — misrepresenting the category is what gets accounts terminated and funds frozen.

We'll tell you at the first call if we can't take a project. That's rarer than you'd think.

Questions

Restricted-category webshops, answered.

Is it legal to sell research peptides / nootropics / CBD in the Netherlands?

It depends on the product, the framing and the destination country, and it changes. We are developers, not lawyers; we build the technical safeguards and recommend a specialist lawyer for the legal opinion. We can introduce you to one.

Will Mollie approve my shop?

Sometimes. Mollie reviews these categories individually. We prepare the application properly and plan a fallback so approval isn't a launch blocker.

Can I run Google Ads or Meta Ads?

For most of these categories, no, or only in a very limited form. Plan on organic search, email to opted-in customers, affiliates and community channels.

Do you need to see my products before quoting?

Yes. Product type, wording you intend to use, and destination countries. It takes ten minutes and it's what lets us quote a fixed price honestly.

What happens if my payment provider shuts me off after launch?

If we built the stack, the fallback is already live and the switch is a setting. If we didn't, we can usually add a fallback within two working days.
